
Kathmandu — The 26th annual conference of the Nepal Ophthalmic Society, the umbrella organization of eye specialists in the country, concluded on Saturday in the capital.
Held at Hotel Yak & Yeti, the event brought together hundreds of ophthalmologists and professionals from across the nation. More than 70 experts from both Nepal and abroad presented research papers, sparking extensive discussions on developments in eye care and treatment.
In addition to academic sessions, the conference also served as the platform for electing new leadership within the society. Dr. Purushottam Joshi, the outgoing General Secretary, was elected as the new President of the Nepal Ophthalmic Society.
