
Kavrepalanchok – Kavrepalanchok has officially been declared a Fully Immunized District after all 13 local levels in the district completed the required immunization process.
It became the third district in Bagmati Province to achieve full immunization status. The declaration was made at a program in Dhulikhel on Sunday, where District Coordination Committee Chief Deepak Gautam, Secretary of the Provincial Ministry of Health Dr. Sumitra Gautam, and Director of the Provincial Health Directorate Dr. Narendra Kumar Jha handed over the certificate to the District Public Health Office.
According to reports, between 16 to 23 months of age, 4,241 children, and under 15 months of age, 4,250 children in the district received all the required vaccinations, fulfilling the criteria for full immunization.

According to the Public Health Office, local female community health volunteers and health workers conducted door-to-door visits to ensure full vaccination.
During the event, vaccination workers and public health officials were honored, and a commitment pledge was signed to maintain the sustainability of full immunization across the district.
