Dadeldhura – Ajaymeru Rural Municipality of Dadeldhura has been declared the first local unit in Sudurpaschim Province to ensure fully institutional and sustainable childbirth services.
Under the slogan “Utilization of local resources, ownership and participation, full immunization and fully institutional delivery — our commitment,” the municipality was officially recognized on Wednesday for achieving full institutional delivery coverage in the region.
Rural Municipality Chairperson Umesh Prasad Bhatt stated that the municipality received the declaration after achieving zero home deliveries within its jurisdiction.
He added that this achievement aligns with the goals and plans set out in the first policy and program adopted in 2074 B.S. (2017 A.D.). Chairperson Bhatt expressed gratitude to all who contributed to making this milestone possible.
