Held from October 21 to 27, the camp provided free eye check-ups to over 2,000 individuals. Those diagnosed with eye conditions received initial treatment and prescription glasses. Patients requiring further treatment or surgery were referred to the Himalaya Eye Hospital, with the foundation committing to organize a separate surgical camp for those unable to afford treatment.
The initiative was a collaborative effort involving KDC General Hospital Basundhara, Kaligandaki Rural Municipality, Taiwan Blindness Foundation (TBP), Muktinath Bikas Bank, and Himalaya Eye Hospital.
In addition to medical services, eye specialists also conducted awareness programs in local schools, educating students about eye care and hygiene.
