
Sankhuwasabha – A 15-bed municipal hospital has officially come into operation in Khandbari Municipality–3, Manebhanjyang.
The hospital was established by upgrading the Pama Health Post, as part of the municipality’s initiative under the “One Local Unit, One Hospital” policy. The construction of the hospital building was completed at a cost of NPR 37.35 million, and services began on Wednesday.
The hospital was inaugurated by former Minister of Health of Koshi Province, Rajendra Karki, along with Mayor Mahesh Thapaliya, Chief District Officer Divya Raj Pokharel, and other notable local dignitaries.
Former Minister Karki expressed his commitment to provide necessary equipment support for the hospital, while Mayor Thapaliya announced that from the Nepali month of Shrawan, the hospital will have a medical officer and additional doctors to provide expanded services.
