
Kathmandu, 5 March — A large-scale dental and eye camp was conducted in Konkai, Jhapa, through the technical collaboration of Kantipur Dental College and Teaching Hospital, located in Basundhara, Kathmandu. The event was jointly organized by BM TVBP Foundation and Dilli Gautam Smriti Pratisthan.
Over two days, Thursday and Friday, more than 2,000 students from Konkai Secondary School underwent eye and dental check-ups. In addition, 75 teachers were also examined, according to Dr. Buddhi Man Shrestha, Chairman of Kantipur Dental College.
The camp, organized in cooperation with Konkai Secondary School management, received technical assistance from KDC Eye Center, Mechi Netralaya, and other organizations.
Among the participants were LP Sawa Limbu, Member of Parliament for Jhapa Constituency No. 4, and Dr. Buddhi Man Shrestha, Chairman of KDC.
